The <strong>com</strong>mitment to the University of Louisville foot<br />
ball program starts at the top with President Dr. James<br />
Ramsey and Vice-President for Athletics Tom Jurich.<br />
Those two individuals have tirelessly worked to en<br />
sure the Cardinal football program has some of the<br />
best facilities in the entire country.<br />
The Trager Indoor Practice Facility, thanks to a $2 million dollar<br />
lead gift from the Trager Family, is one of the finest indoor facilities<br />
in the nation. Completed December 1, 2005, the practice<br />
facility allows the football team to practice indoors due to inclement<br />
weather, but is also used by many of the other programs at the<br />
school.<br />
Plans are also in place to expand the Stadium to 63,600 and add<br />
75 luxury suites, which would create one of the finest on-campus<br />
facilities in the country.<br />
In addition to the indoor facility, the Cardinals have three beautiful<br />
regulation outdoor practice fields.<br />
