She was a member of the Indiana Athletic Trainers Associaton and is currently a member of the Kentucky Athletic Trainers’ Society. She is a NATA certified athletic trainer with CPR certification. A 1984 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelors of science in secondary education, she earned a master’s in health, physical education and recreation in 1985 from Eastern Illinois University. Freedom Hall is sold out on a season basis while the U of L football team has maintained a substantial season ticket base, including a record 36,000 season ticket sales in 2006. He also serves in the game management and operations aspect for all varsity sports. Barber earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Rio Grande College in 1986. While completing his undergraduate studies, he served as an assistant basketball coach for Rio Grande from 1982-86. He is married to the former Kim Morgan. He served as assistant athletic director for operations and tickets his initial five years. Before joining the U of L staff, Brawner was the Director of Admission Control for the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, serving as the KFEC liaison with the Ticketron corporation and operating the KFEC Ticket Office. A native of Springfield, Ill., Brawner received a B.S. degree from Cincinnati Bible College in 1977. He earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University in 1985. Brawner has also served as the Director of Tickets of the Ohio High School class AAA, AA and A sectional, district and regional basketball tournaments. He served as assistant basketball coach at Cincinnati Bible College in 1978-79. He is married to the former Lori Higgins. They have two children: Chris and Kelsey Morgan. Clark was a senior auditor in the U of L Internal Audit department from 1990 until joining the athletic department. An accounting graduate from the University of Kentucky, she is a Certified Internal Auditor and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Collegiate Athletic Business Managers Association. Prior to working at U of L, Clark was a bookkeeper for First State Bank in Irvington, Ky. Clark oversees the financial operations of the business office and assists in the preparation of financial statements. A native of Brandenburg, she and her husband Gary have two children: Ashton and Drew. Cooper Cooper Jones Jones Asst. Asst. Asst. Asst. Asst. Prior to joining the U of L staff, Jones served as Director of Major Gifts for four years at the University of Maryland. In that role, he was the primary fundraiser for capital campaigns focused on the Terrapins' football, basketball, soccer, golf, baseball and lacrosse programs. He aided in facility campaigns that upgraded, expanded or built eight new competition sites. He also participated in the total men's basketball reseating of the 17,400seat Comcast Center in 2002 and 2005. Jones was Athletics Development Officer at Georgia Tech before his stint at Maryland. While in Atlanta, he was a member of the five-person fundraising team for the Building a Competitive Advantage Campaign, with a public goal of $80 million. He also was primarily responsible for the project evaluation for the addition of skyboxes and club level seating to Bobby Dodd Stadium. Among his other responsibilities, Jones served as an Annual Fund and Major Gift fundraiser for Georgia Tech throughout the southeast United States. A native of Conyers, Georgia, Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism & public relations, with a Minor in history and health care communications, in 2000 from Ohio University, where he was a three-year football letterwinner and senior tri-captain for the Bobcats. He is responsible for overseeing academics for the Cardinal football team and managing the Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Computer Lab. Hicks serves on the University's Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality (CODRE), the Directors Council for University Wide Advising and is coordinator for the athletics department program S.C.O.R.E. (Student-Athletes of Color Combining Opportunity and Responsibility for Excellence). A native of Huntsville, Ala., Hicks attended Tuskegee University and played on the basketball and baseball teams there. He received his bachelors degree in Marketing from Alabama A&M University in 1992 and went on to receive his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) degree from Portland State University in 1996. Hicks came to U of L after serving as assistant men’s basketball coach and coordinator of multicultural admissions at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. While with the Cardinals, Hicks has served as the compliance coordinator over education and monitoring and as an academic counselor. Hicks and his wife, Kellie, are the parents of three children -- two daughters, Hailey and Sydney, and one son, Garrett. He operated the NCAA National Youth Sports Program, a summer program for at-risk boys and girls, for the athletic department for 20 years. McGhee joined the U of L athletic department in 1977 as assistant athletic trainer and football equipment manager.
