• With the win over Pittsburgh, the Cardinals<br />
improved to 10-1. It’s the fourth time in<br />
school history that the Cardinals have won 10<br />
or more games in a season (2006, 2004, 2001<br />
and 1990).<br />
• WR Mario Urrutia and Harry Douglas<br />
extended their streaks with a reception to 13<br />
games.<br />
• WR Mario Urrutia caught a 42-yard<br />
touchdown, his seventh touchdown reception<br />
of over 40 yards in his career and the third this<br />
season. He recorded seven catches for 144<br />
yards, his fourth 100-yard game this season<br />
and the seventh of his career.<br />
• WR Harry Douglas had four catches for a<br />
career-high 132 yards. He has seven games<br />
this season with over 80 receiving yards.<br />
• FS Jon Russell recovered his second fumble<br />
of the season that led to Louisville’s first<br />
touchdown.<br />
• PK Art Carmody made his 16th straight field<br />
goal before having one blocked in the second<br />
quarter to stop his streak at 16 straight. He is<br />
18-of-20 this season and has connected on 32<br />
of his last 34 attempts. He added a 42-yard<br />
field goal late in the game and is 10-for-10 in<br />

• U of L won its 18th straight game at home,<br />
the longest winning streak in school history<br />
and the second longest in the nation (behind<br />
USC).<br />
• Louisville won at least a share of its first<br />
BIG EAST Conference title in its second year<br />
in the league.<br />
• Louisville finished the regular season with<br />
11 victories, the third time in school history<br />
the Cardinals have won 11 games in a season<br />
(also in 2001, 2004).<br />
• U of L’s senior class has produced a fouryear<br />
career record of 40-9, including an<br />
impressive 22-1 home mark in Papa John’s<br />
Cardinal Stadium.<br />
• WR Harry Douglas became the seventh U<br />
of L wide receiver to record 1,000 receiving<br />
yards in a season (1,100 total), and is the first<br />
since J.R. Russell had a school-record 1,213<br />
yards in 2003. With five catches for a careerbest<br />
149 yards and two touchdowns, Douglas<br />
produced his third 100-yard receiving game<br />
this season.<br />
•With two field goals today, junior<br />
placekicker Art Carmody broke the U of L<br />
career record for field goals with 46, breaking<br />
the old mark of 44 set by Nate Smith (2000-<br />
2003).
