Post-Game Notes
• The Cardinals moved to 5-0 first the first time
under head coach Bobby Petrino and have won
10 of their last 11 games.
• QB Hunter Cantwell is 3-1 as a starter after
leading the Cardinals to a 44-17 win over
Middle Tennessee. He threw for a career-best
340 yards and tied a career-best with three
touchdown passes. Cantwell also tossed three
TD passes in the Gator Bowl loss to Virginia
Tech.
• WR Mario Urrutia recorded a 68-yard
touchdown reception in the first quarter to tie
the score at 10-10. It was his third TD reception
of 50 or more yards this season and the sixth in
his two seasons with the Cardinals. He caught
four passes for 134 yards, the fifth 100-yard
receiving game of his career. He has caught 17
passes for a team-high 405 yards and is
averaging 23.8 yards per catch.
• Louisville ran for two more touchdowns
giving them 19 this season, which is tied for the
second-best mark inthe country.
• The Cardinals amassed 526 yards of total
offense, the third time this season the Cardinals
went over the 500-yard mark. It’s also the 23rd
time the Cardinals reached that total under
Petrino.

Post-Game Notes
• U of L won its 15th straight game at home,
the longest winning streak in school history
and the second longest in the nation (behind
USC). U of L is 19-1 in Papa John’s Cardinal
Stadium under head coach Bobby Petrino.
• U of L improved to 6-0 for the first time
since 1972, when the Cardinals finished with a
9-1 record and were the tri-champion of the
MVC.
• Junior quarterback Brian Brohm made the
start for the Cardinals after missing the last
two games with a thumb injury. He completed
20-of-37 passes for 324 yards today, his
seventh career 300-yard passing game
(second-highest at U of L).
• Junior placekicker Art Carmody booted field
goals of 32 and 42 yards in the second quarter
and added a 35-yarder in the fourth quarter to
improve to 11-of-12 on field goals this season.
It was Carmody’s third career game with three
field goals and his second this year (also vs.
Middle Tennessee). He has connected on 25 of
his last 26 attempts. Carmody is 8-for-8 from
over 40 yards in his career.
• Junior tight end Gary Barnidge produced a
career-best with five catches for 96 yards. He
scored on a one-yard TD reception in the third
quarter.
