EQUIPMENT STAFF
The University of Louisville equipment staff may work behind the
scenes, but their efforts are noticed every time the Cardinals take the field.
The job of the equipment staff is to assist the coaches, administrators and
medical staff to ensure that the Cardinals’ student-athletes have the proper
equipment in premium conditions to assure the athletes’ health and wellbeing.
The function of the equipment staff is labor-intensive and important
to the success of the Cardinals on the field. In addition to providing superior
service to the coaches and athletes, the staff is also responsible for
inventory control, purchasing, budgets, safety issues and NCAA compliance.
The equipment staff works year-round with the top equipment manufacturers
in the country to give the Cardinals with a superb look on the
field, and to fit Louisville student-athletes with the most modern and efficient
practice apparel.
Louisville is fortunate to have an experienced staff of full-time and
student managers dedicated to helping U of L athletes to perform at their
highest level.
Transporting football equipment to away games all across the country
can be a daunting task. Louisville is fortunate to be the beneficiary of
a generous donation of time and equipment of Pegasus Trucking.
