Similarly, when my partners made new words, I would guess what <strong>the</strong>y<br />

intended <strong>to</strong> express, and I would tell <strong>the</strong>m what <strong>the</strong> correct words were. I<br />

help was also expressed. In class, I benefited from “word coinage,” because I<br />

had learned some new words this way. This contributed <strong>to</strong> both my<br />

learned. For example, Jian Guo was capable at expressing <strong>the</strong> subjects <strong>of</strong> plants and<br />

animals based on <strong>the</strong>ir classification methods.<br />

Tien Long did not provide a position on interlanguage. However, he had<br />

many perceptions about it. Tien Long expressed that he recognized that interlanguage<br />

was a suitable strategy <strong>of</strong> introducing Taiwanese culture. Tien Long observed that he<br />

did not use “word coinage,” although he had heard many examples from his<br />

classmates. Additionally, he believed that <strong>the</strong> ability <strong>to</strong> react and a person’s<br />

knowledge were fac<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>of</strong> how well s/he could apply “paragraph.” He believed that<br />

“restructuring” was acceptable in a situation <strong>of</strong> language learning.<br />
