Jiun Sheng said that describing a word should be quite easy. Jiun Sheng described:<br />

Whatever I would like <strong>to</strong> describe, I usually was able <strong>to</strong> find its relative things<br />

<strong>to</strong> exemplify. It was like looking for a location in a coordinated graph; you<br />

always could describe it with its location on <strong>the</strong> x axis and its location on <strong>the</strong><br />

y axis.<br />

In Jiun Sheng’s second interview, he talked about his perceptions <strong>to</strong>ward “word<br />

coinage.” Moreover, he provided examples created through “paraphrase”:<br />

My perception <strong>of</strong> “word coinage” was that <strong>the</strong> language created through it<br />

was <strong>to</strong>o childish and funny, but really comprehensible. Some words might<br />

sound like ba<strong>by</strong> talk, and <strong>the</strong> listeners would think <strong>the</strong> speaker’s purpose <strong>of</strong><br />

saying it was for making a joke. It is possible <strong>the</strong> listeners think this way<br />

when <strong>the</strong>y do not know anything about communication strategies.<br />

When <strong>the</strong> listener comprehended <strong>the</strong> speaker’s meaning in this humorous way,<br />

he cleverly would smile at <strong>the</strong> speaker for implying his understandability, but<br />

and not laughing at me. I perceived that “word coinage” sometimes was an<br />

excellent way <strong>to</strong> compensate for limited vocabularies. If someone <strong>to</strong>ld me<br />

that I was amusing when I used this strategy, I would not think it was
