of land holdings in Indonesia. The equity weights<br />

are based on the ratio of consumption expenditures<br />

based on a survey by the world resources institute.<br />

3) India: The values for forests are based on the Green<br />

Accounting for Indian States Project (GAISP) floor<br />

values adjusted for the year 2005. For timber,<br />

fuelwood only open forests are considered. For the<br />

rest very dense and dense forests are considered.<br />

For the forest dependent population, based on the<br />

publication forest dependent population, India has<br />

200 million people who are directly dependent on<br />

forests. To this are included, population with less<br />

than one hectare agricultural land and fishing<br />

population. The equity weights are based on the<br />

ratio of consumption expenditures on food of the<br />

agricultural households with more than 4 hectares<br />

agricultural land to the households having less than<br />

1 ha land.<br />

4) Note: the services to agriculture, fishery and<br />

livestock can be captured through the productivity<br />

approach method, i.e. any decrease or deterioration<br />

in services is already reflected in the value<br />

added in agriculture, livestock and fishing sectors.<br />
