Participation and making up for absences:<br />

A signature will be given with the prerequisite of participation (minimum 75% of the lectures and<br />

seminars). It is possible to make up for an absence by participating in another seminar group the<br />

same week. One absence can be overlooked by the teacher if the student writes an essay. The<br />

topic of the essay must be discussed with the seminar leader in advance.<br />

Justification of the absence in the lectures and examinations:<br />

Participation list will be recorded at the end of every lecture/seminar. In case of absence medical<br />

certificate has to be presented within three workdays to the course leader.<br />

Checks during the semester (reports, written checks) :<br />

One written exam on week 12. It can be made up during the semester.<br />

Requirements for the signature at the end of the semester:<br />

Regular participation on the lectures and seminars, filling in two surveys online (week 2 and 12).<br />

One written exam (week 12)<br />

Method of the calculation of marks:<br />

- Written exam: 60 points<br />

- Two surveys: 30 points<br />

- Work during classes: 10 points<br />

Categories:<br />

- 5: 85-100 points<br />

- 4: 75-84 points<br />

- 3: 65-74 points<br />

- 2: 50-64 points<br />

- 1: 50 points<br />

Requirements for the exam: fulfilment of the requirements of the semester<br />

Application for the exam: Through the Neptun system.<br />

Changing the application for the exam: Through the Neptun system.<br />

Justification of the absence from the exam: Medical certificate has to be presented within<br />

three workdays to the course leader.<br />
