Words for the indescribable
▶ An authentic report of a near-death experience
and life thereafter
▶ With an afterword by near-death researcher
Pim van Lommel
Bang! ng! Hurtled out into another dimension. When the pain became unb unbearable,
e, Sabine Mehne left her body. Suddenly she saw herself from above, above
lying
in a hospital bed. She was bathed in a healing light and felt infinitely
free. But no one – and she least of anyone – understood what had happened
to her. After her recovery she led a kind of double life: outwardly she tried
to function and fulfill her role as the mother of three children. But secretly
she longed to return to that all-encompassing light – and in time learned to
move back and forth between the worlds.
Sabine Mehne’s account of her near-death experience is powerful and yet
easy to read. She approaches the existential questions of life and death with
poetry and fresh humor.
“This wonderful book is the most intimate, revealing and open-hearted report
of someone coming to terms with a near-death experience that I have ever
read. […] Highly recommended!”
