113. College Fees 2012-13
a. Received: a paper from the First Bursar.
b. Agreed: to recirculate the paper from the Council of 19th July 2011 and bring the
item back to Council at the meeting on 15th May.
114. Rylands Art Prize
The Senior Tutor reported that the first prize had been awarded to Joshua Bristow, the
second prize to Jess Kwong, and the third prize jointly to Helen Murray and Sophie
Grabiner.
115. Rupert Brooke – Request for Support
a. Received: a paper from the Bursar with a request for support for a concert
celebrating the centenary of the writing of Rupert Brooke’s poem, “The Old
Vicarage, Grantchester”.
b. Agreed: to allow the College Shop to sell tickets to the concerts.
116. Shakespeare in the Garden
a. Received: a paper from the Bursar.
b. Agreed: to permit the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival to stage performances in
the Fellows’ Garden over three weeks in August 2012, at a fee of £165 per day.
Detailed arrangements to be agreed with the Head Porter and Head Gardener.

Received: the Minutes of the meeting of the Church Patronage Committee held on 8th March 2012.
119. Building and Safety Committee Minutes
Received: the Minutes of the meeting of the Building and Safety Committee held on 14th March 2012.
120. Application for Use of Cobbles
a. Received: A paper from the Vice-Provost.
b. Agreed:
(i) to grant permission for the Cobbles to be blocked off for the night of 20th July 2012 for the Fellow’s Summer Supper Party;
(ii) to send a letter to Sarah Chambre and Dr Cleobury with a copy to the Dean
noting that parking on the Cobbles requires the permission of Council.
