b. Agreed: to recirculate the paper from the Council of 19th July 2011 and bring the<br />

item back to Council at the meeting on 15th <strong>May</strong>.<br />

114. Rylands Art Prize<br />

The Senior Tutor reported that the first prize had been awarded to Joshua Bristow, the<br />

second prize to Jess Kwong, and the third prize jointly to Helen Murray and Sophie<br />

Grabiner.<br />

115. Rupert Brooke – Request for Support<br />

a. Received: a paper from the Bursar with a request for support for a concert<br />

celebrating the centenary of the writing of Rupert Brooke’s poem, “The Old<br />

Vicarage, Grantchester”.<br />

b. Agreed: to allow the <strong>College</strong> Shop to sell tickets to the concerts.<br />

116. Shakespeare in the Garden<br />

a. Received: a paper from the Bursar.<br />

b. Agreed: to permit the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival to stage performances in<br />

the Fellows’ Garden over three weeks in August 2012, at a fee of £165 per day.<br />

Detailed arrangements to be agreed with the Head Porter and Head Gardener.<br />

Received: the Minutes of the meeting of the Finance Committee held on 28th February<br />

2012.<br />

Received: the Minutes of the meeting of the Church Patronage Committee held on 8th March 2012.<br />

Received: the Minutes of the meeting of the Building and Safety Committee held on 14th March 2012.<br />

120. Application for Use of Cobbles<br />

a. Received: A paper from the Vice-Provost.<br />

b. Agreed:<br />

(i) to grant permission for the Cobbles to be blocked off for the night of 20th July 2012 for the Fellow’s Summer Supper Party;<br />

(ii) to send a letter to Sarah Chambre and Dr Cleobury with a copy to the Dean<br />

noting that parking on the Cobbles requires the permission of Council.
