Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH has been manufacturing artificial-light<br />
and daylight lamps as well as accessories for TV, cinema, broadcasting, and<br />
video since 1955. Thus, Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH has access to<br />
decades of experience in technology, handling, and design.<br />
In 1999, the assets of Kobold Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH were acquired by<br />
the newly founded company Bron KOBOLD GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary<br />
of Bron Elektronik AG of Allschwil (Switzerland).<br />
Kobold is a competent advisor in all lighting applications. Manufacturing<br />
and engineering as well as quality and safety standards are constantly<br />
reviewed and enhanced to meet new needs. For this reason, Kobold products<br />
are becoming more and more popular among users around the<br />

For more than 40 years, Bron Elektronik AG has been a leader in the development,<br />
production, and distribution of electronic flash units for professional<br />
photographers. The company successfully markets its products in<br />
more than 50 countries under the broncolor, VISATEC, and now Kobold<br />
brands.<br />
For nearly 10 years, Bron Elektronik AG has been manufacturing daylight<br />
lamps (HMI) and electronic ballast units for commercial photography applications.<br />
In 1998, Bron launched weather-resistant (IP54) daylight lamps on<br />
