Ölçsan Genel Müdürü / Ölçsan General Manager
rerek çalışıyor. SGK projesinde KİM Pozitif çözümü ile yer alıyoruz.
KİM Pozitif sensörü, dünyanın 1 numaralı biyometri firması Morpho
(Safran)’nun ürünüdür. Bu sensör ailesi, birçok ülkede Ulusal
Kimlik, Sağlık, Biyometrili Pasaport ve Emniyet Kriminal birimlerinin
projelerinde kullanılmaktadır. Yeni T.C.
Bu işbirliğinden doğan KIM Pozitif’in özellikleri neler?
English
the product of Morpho (Safran), which is the number 1 biometry
company in the world. The sensor is being used in many countries,
in the projects of National Identification, Healthcare, Security, Criminal
units. It also is the primary sensor being used in the new T.R.
Identification Card project.
May we find out about the details of your collaboration with Ingenico
within this scope?
KIM Pozitif is the collaborative product of the Turkey office of Ingenico,
leader of world payment systems, and Morpho (Safran),
manufacturer of biometrical reader systems. KIM Pozitif has been
completely developed by the designs and software of Ölçsan and
Ingenico’s engineers. Both for on-POS software and for all back office
software, joint and fully domestic resources have been used.
All public and private organizations that will be included in the SGK
project will also be able to perform the payment transactions with
the POS unit.
What are the features of KIM Pozitif emerging from this collaboration?
How will this device create benefits for hospital managements
and the SGK?
There is more than one method to be used in biometrical verification.
One of these, or if desired, several of these methods collectively may
be used. Collective use allows more accurate results. KIM Pozitif
makes verification by the individual’s finger-print and vein print data,
and this renders the verification much more reliable and accurate.
What is important in biometric verification is the time required for the
procedure as well as the success of the identification procedure.
When it is necessary to make real-time evaluations, the technique
that is most suitable for this parameter should be selected. At KIM
Pozitif, verification of an individual may be performed in less than 1
second. In addition, the correct acquisition of the data during first
identification is significant with respect to the speed and accuracy of
the following verifications… KIM Pozitif also prevents the unqualified
acquisition of the biometrical data of individuals. A risk such as failure
to make a correct and accurate record is absolutely out of question.
The system warns you and does not allow your mistake. The principle
in the biometrical identification systems is the comparison of the
read data with the previously acquired data. Here, it is very important
not to record a data in duplicate… The SGK has implemented this
project to prevent the leaks; therefore this feature is also the main
cause of this project. In our system formed by KIM Pozitif, duplicate
recording of the same individual by different TR identification numbers
is absolutely not allowed. This feature, called“1:n”, does not
overlook any action that has been made with bad intentions.
Although biometrical records are made
for children under 12, later verification due
to the growth processes is only possible
by a special algorithm and this currently is
available only on the KIM Pozitif sensor.
KIM Pozitif, by distinguishing whether the finger tissue is live or not, is
preventing all types of misappropriation. We are using a sensor that
has been working in biometry for approximately 50 years and having
project references in approximately 70 countries. Through this
experience, the sensor software has reached the most reliable and
accurate level. For example although biometrical records are made
for children under 12, later verification due to the growth processes
is only possible by a special algorithm and this currently is available
only on the KIM Pozitif sensor.
Well, how will data security be achieved?
All data in the system is stored and verified in the system as encrypted.
The KIM Pozitif components hold FIPS 201, FBI PIV IQS,
PCI, EMV and Common Criteria certificates, which are the highest
security criteria.
