In <strong>GHS</strong>, it is defined that if test data <strong>for</strong> a substance, acquired based on <strong>the</strong> prescribed test<br />

method, cannot be obtained from reliable sources, <strong>the</strong> substance shall be classified as<br />

“<strong>Classification</strong> not possible”. There<strong>for</strong>e, some of gasses which are known to impair metals, such<br />

as ammonia gas and hydrogen chloride gas, are fall under “<strong>Classification</strong> not possible” because<br />

<strong>the</strong> test methods <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong>m have not been defined.<br />
