(6) <strong>Classification</strong> of Explosives-related substances in o<strong>the</strong>r classes<br />

If substances to be tested are solid, it involves a risk to per<strong>for</strong>m tests with “desensitized<br />

explosives” <strong>for</strong> <strong>GHS</strong> “Flammable Solids”(<strong>the</strong> same tests <strong>for</strong> substances of UNTDG Class 4.1,<br />

Packing group II, III). There<strong>for</strong>e, if no in<strong>for</strong>mation is available from prescribed review documents,<br />

<strong>the</strong> “classification result” shall be “<strong>Classification</strong> not possible”, and “Desensitized Explosives”<br />

shall be indicated <strong>for</strong> “<strong>Classification</strong> Grounds and Problems” regarding “Flammable Solids”.<br />

When, however, <strong>the</strong>y are liquid and <strong>the</strong>ir measurement results of flashing point are available,<br />

classification <strong>for</strong> “Flammable Liquids” shall be carried out by utilizing <strong>the</strong> results.<br />
