(2) Judgment of Not Classified<br />

A substance subject to classification that obviously falls under none of <strong>the</strong> relevant hazard<br />

categories according to definitions of <strong>the</strong> second revised edition of UN <strong>GHS</strong> or its well-known<br />

scientific properties (<strong>for</strong> example, “non-combustibility”) shall be classified as “not classified”.<br />

Example entries <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> grounds <strong>for</strong> classification of substances judged as “not classified” are<br />

given in Table 2-3.<br />
