Note 2 These values are designed to be used in <strong>the</strong> calculation of <strong>the</strong> Acute Toxicity<br />

estimate(ATE)values <strong>for</strong> classification of a mixture based on its ingredients and do not<br />

represent test results. The values are conservatively set at <strong>the</strong> lower limit of <strong>the</strong> range of<br />

Category 1 and 2, and at a point approximately 1/10 th from <strong>the</strong> lower limit of <strong>the</strong> range<br />

<strong>for</strong> Categories 3-4.<br />

In <strong>GHS</strong> classification, in addition to JIS <strong>Classification</strong>, Category 5 is set. Explanation of<br />
