Federal Government program
funding selected new
apprentice purchases up to the
value of $800, including GST.
Available within the first year of
their apprenticeship, this scheme
gives new apprentices a great
start to their chosen trade career,
as it is an addition to any tool
allowance currently received
under the award wage or private
employment arrangement.
Products available under the
scheme include trade tools,
protective clothing, safety
footwear, and other necessary
work items.

2009 will be a big year for promotions, with many branches already catching Footy Fever, while
our retail customers are excited about the massive Raymor stocktake sale and release of the new
retail catalogue.
Footy Fever
Footy Fever 2009 may have
already started in branches
nationally, but it’s not too late
to join if you have forgotten
to sign up.
With over 2000 players already
registered in AFL and NRL
competitions, the fight for the
major prize could be fierce.
You have until June 30 to register,
and will not be penalised with
points if you register late. Rather
than start at zero, you will be
awarded the lowest points for your
branch at the time of entry. For
example, if you register in round
three and the lowest scoring player
at your branch has 20 points, you
will start off on 20 points.
The entry fee is $55 including
GST, and you can register at
any Tradelink Plumbing Centre.
Not all branches are running a
competition, however many have
organised a ‘super’ competition
between several branches,
increasing the number of players
and the total prize pool.
