1 out of 2(50%) Salmonella isolates from layer were sensitive to to doxycyclin. Resistance percentage 96.6% to doxycyclin was recorded by Saleh (2007) on the other hand, all isolates were resistant to doxycyclin, as mentioned by Hegazy (1991). No Salmonella isolates were sensitive to erythromycin this means resistance percentage 100%, this result agreed with Abbass (1993) who reported that colistin, sulphate, erythromycim, lincomycin and pencillin were not effective. Two Salmonella isolates from layer were sensitive to rifampicin. This result agreed with Molla et al.,(1999) who found that only 4 antimicrobials ( gentamycin, kanamycin, rifampicin and sulfamethazole/ trimethoprime ) were effective against all Salmonella isolates. No Salmonella isolates were sensitive to streptomycin this means that resistance percentage 100%, this result agreed with Jain and Chen (2006) who found that 98.9% of Salmonella isolates were resistant to streptomycin. Saleh (2007) found that resistance percentage 79.1% to streptomycin. All Salmonella isolates from layer were resistant to spectam. This result agreed with Eltahawy (1997) who noted that all Gram- negative bacilli isolates were resistant to at least two of the four major antibiotics group (aminoglocoside, fluoroquinolon, third generation cephalosporin and carbapenems). 90
