Ten out of 14(71.42%) E.coli from one day old chicks isolates
were sensitive to doxycyclin. Tsai and Fang found that over 90% of
E.coli isolates were resistant to oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline,
tetracycline and doxycyclin. Shome and his colleagues found that all
E.coli isolates were also resistant, on the other hand, it was found all
E.coli isolates collected from 2 commercial unites and from free range
chickens from 3 villages were sensitive to chlortetracycline and
doxycyclin, Mishra(1995).
Eight out of 14(57.14%) E.coli isolates from one day old chicks
were sensitive to erythromycin, Activity percentage 73.8% of
erythromycin was mentioned by Osman (1992), meanwhile resistance
percentage 100% against erythromycin and pencillin G was recorded
by Abd-El-Mawla (1998).
Nine out of 14(64.28%) E.coli isolates from one day old chicks
Ten out of 14(71.42%) E.coli isolates from one day old chicks
were sensitive to streptomycin. Meaning that streptomycin resistance
