identified in reservoir tanks as, 11 (8.27%), 10 (7.52%), 13 (9.77%),

as, 14 (8.48%), 10 (6.06%), 18 (10.9%), 20 (12.12%) and 9 (5.45%),
respectively.
2.2. Antimicrobial sensitivity pattern for E. Coli
El-Bakry et al. (1983) carried out sensitivity test on 30 isolates
of E.coli (isolated from dead baby chicks) against furazolidone,
gentamicin, tetracycline and chloramphenical. The ratio of sensitive
strains to the totally tested ones were 80% (furazolidone), followed by
70% (neomycin), 63% (gentamycin), 40% (choramphenicol) and 20%
(tetracyclin).
Giurov (1985) tested the susceptibility of 223 strains of E.coli to
