DATA PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND<br />

DISCUSSION <strong>OF</strong> RESULTS<br />

This chapter presents and analyzes the data collected and discusses it accordingly. First,<br />

the demographic profile of respondents is analyzed and presented followed by the<br />

characteristics of women entrepreneurs in MESs. Both are analyzed using frequency<br />

tables and percentages. Thirdly, the data related to the factors that affect the performance<br />

of women entrepreneurs and the areas of support between TVETs and MSEs are<br />

presented and analyzed. Mean and standard deviations are used for the presentation and<br />

analysis of these parts. Finally, discussions are made based on the data presented and<br />

analyzed.<br />

Of the totally distributed questionnaires (203), 197 were properly filled and collected.<br />

This amounts 97.04% of the total respondents. Since this is adequate enough to make the<br />

analysis, all the discussions below are made on these groups of respondents.<br />

4.1 Presentation and analysis<br />

In this part, the data collected in answering the basic questions are presented and<br />

analyzed.<br />

4.1.1 Demographic profile of respondents<br />

The following table summarizes the demographic profile of respondents by age,<br />

educational level, work experience and marital status.<br />
