The International <strong>Uveitis</strong> Study Group (IUSG)<br />
under the auspices of the International Council<br />
of Ophthalmology (ICO) will be conducting the<br />
<strong>2nd</strong> <strong>Uveitis</strong> <strong>Course</strong>, which will be held in <strong>Venice</strong>,<br />
Italy in February of 2009.<br />
It will take place at the <strong>Venice</strong> International<br />
University, where participants will reside for<br />
the entire duration of the course.<br />
Besides covering the whole fi eld of uveitis,<br />
special topics will be offered in four small<br />
interactive groups: to learn how to evaluate<br />
uveitis patients, to rationally develop a differential<br />
diagnosis, to interpret fl uorescein and<br />
indocyanine green angiographic fi ndings, and<br />
to optimise immunosuppressive therapy. The<br />
interactive program will allow in depth discussion<br />
on management of even complicated<br />
uveitis issues.<br />
The course will be limited to 54 participants.<br />
The faculty is composed of highly experienced<br />
IUSG-members who are well known for their<br />
teaching skills.<br />
