The International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG)
under the auspices of the International Council
of Ophthalmology (ICO) will be conducting the
2nd Uveitis Course, which will be held in Venice,
Italy in February of 2009.
It will take place at the Venice International
University, where participants will reside for
the entire duration of the course.
Besides covering the whole fi eld of uveitis,
special topics will be offered in four small
interactive groups: to learn how to evaluate
uveitis patients, to rationally develop a differential
diagnosis, to interpret fl uorescein and
indocyanine green angiographic fi ndings, and
to optimise immunosuppressive therapy. The
interactive program will allow in depth discussion
on management of even complicated
uveitis issues.
The course will be limited to 54 participants.
The faculty is composed of highly experienced
IUSG-members who are well known for their
teaching skills.
