Think of a photographic tripod and head and you normally think of
sacrificing spontaneity and speed for precision and control. But the
322RC2 is a photographic ball head that learns lessons from
situations where you need both. The 322RC2 becomes an extension
of your arm and of the camera, so with just the one hand you grip
the lever to unlock the head, rapidly regulate position and without
having to move an inch or take your eye away from the viewfinder,
you shoot, using the optional 322RS electronic shutter release.
When you let go, the camera stays securely blocked in position and
safely above your tripod's centre of gravity so you don't have to
worry about locking levers or knobs. It's equally fast when you need
to engage or disengage your camera, thanks to the built-in quick
release plate. Made out of high tech magnesium, it's light, but it's
also strong - with a good load capacity and an adjustable friction
control that fine-tunes the head to the weight of your camera.
