Think of a photographic tripod and head and you normally think of
sacrificing spontaneity and speed for precision and control. But the
322RC2 is a photographic ball head that learns lessons from
situations where you need both. The 322RC2 becomes an extension
of your arm and of the camera, so with just the one hand you grip
the lever to unlock the head, rapidly regulate position and without
having to move an inch or take your eye away from the viewfinder,
you shoot, using the optional 322RS electronic shutter release.
When you let go, the camera stays securely blocked in position and
safely above your tripod's centre of gravity so you don't have to
worry about locking levers or knobs. It's equally fast when you need
to engage or disengage your camera, thanks to the built-in quick
release plate. Made out of high tech magnesium, it's light, but it's
also strong - with a good load capacity and an adjustable friction
control that fine-tunes the head to the weight of your camera.

322RC2: get a better grip on reality.
The 322RC2 is a new kind of ball head ideal for all those assignments where the action moves fast, and your decision to use a
tripod and head mustn't be allowed to endanger the speed of your photographic reactions. Ideal for digital SLRs or traditional film
cameras from 35mm to medium format, this is the ideal head for sports coverage, fashion shoots, reportage, birdwatching and
nature photography, but it also makes an ideal "all-in-one" solution to the most common photographic needs, merging the
positioning flexibility of a centre ball head with the pan, tilt and tracking of a video head, and the security and peace of mind of
a geared head. It's magnesium, so it won't weigh you down when you're out in the field, but with a 5kg (11lb) load capacity, it
won't let you down either. With the additional 322RS unit (compatible with most electronic cameras), you can control the camera
shutter release from the head too, meaning you can keep one hand on the barrel of the lens for fine focusing, and one on the head
grip for positioning and shooting, without risking loss of balance of your kit. And when you need to be able to alternate rapidly
between hand-held and tripod-mounted shooting, just flip the quick release plate lever to engage or disengage the camera.

Take the versatility of a ball head, add true ergonomic control and you get the 322RC2:
a photographic head that allows you to unblock, move, position and lock your camera
with one hand in one position thanks to the revolutionary design of its grip handle, which
incorporates the ball lock lever and can also mount the 322RS shutter release accessory.
A friction control wheel lets you regulate the power of the blocking mechanism to match
the weight of your camera/lens. The 322RC2 is made from magnesium for lightweight
performance, and is designed to keep the weight of your kit as close as possible to the
tripod's centre of gravity by way of its reduced height. It is this fact, matched with the
precision construction of the 322RC2 that gives the head its load capacity of 5kg (11lbs).
Complete with built-in bubble spirit level and quick release camera plate (standard
1/4 - 20" screw, with secondary safety pin). Suitable for use with 35mm or medium
format cameras.

322RS ELECTRONIC SHUTTER RELEASE KIT FOR 322RC2
The remote control electronic shutter release kit fits
the 322RC2 grip action ball head and puts control of
your camera's shutter down on the head itself, so you
can take photos the moment you're in position,
without having to move your hand from the head grip
up to the camera body. The 322RS can be fitted to
the head no matter which position you choose to use
it in, for both right and left handed photographers.
