The following modifications/addition may be made in para 8 & 9 ong>ofong> the aforesaid minutes. These modifications/ amendments / additions in the minutes have also been put on the website ong>ofong> this Ministry i.e. http://coal.nic.in. Details ong>ofong> the amendments / additions are as under: Strengthening ong>ofong> Directorate General ong>ofong> Mines Safety (DGMS) FOR 8. The recommendations ong>ofong> the Work Study ong>Committeeong> have been accepted and sanction for creation ong>ofong> 102 Group ‘A’ posts in DGMS has been issued on 5.3.2009. READ 8. Joint Secretary, Ministry ong>ofong> Labour & Employment informed that they have already initiated action for filling up 105 posts in DGMS. Appointment letters have been issued to 14 candidates for the post ong>ofong> Deputy Directors out ong>ofong> which 7 persons have already joined. The recommendations ong>ofong> the Work Study ong>Committeeong> have been accepted and sanction for creation ong>ofong> 102 Group ‘A’ posts in DGMS has been issued on 5.3.2009. (Action – MoL&E) Amendment in Coal Mines Regulations (CMR) FOR 9. The proposed Amendments in CMR, 2006 have been concurred by the Ministry ong>ofong> Coal and M/O Mines. the same were referred to M/o Law for vetting, who advised that the matter may first be referred to ong>Committeeong> under Section 12 ong>ofong> the Mines Act, 1952 is being reconstituted since as per the notification Additional Secretary is the Chairman, whereas there is no Additional Secretary in the Ministry at present.
