Indications: Edema<br />

Category: Diuretic, potassium-sparing<br />

Half-life: 1–2 hours<br />

Clinically important, potentially hazardous interactions<br />

with: ACE inhibitors, benazepril, captopril, cyclosporine,<br />

enalapril, fosinopril, indomethacin, juniper, lisinopril, moexipril,<br />

potassium iodide, potassium salts, quinapril, ramipril,<br />

spironolactone, tr<strong>and</strong>olapril<br />

Dyazide is triamterene <strong>and</strong> hydrochlorothiazide*; Maxzide is<br />

triamterene <strong>and</strong> hydrochlorothiazide*<br />
