Selecting Land for Initial Investment
In order to select land, Agrimex requires the following criteria:
Stage I. Investment or acquiring the land
With the purpose of valuing the projects, the investment decisions by Agrimex Capital will
be based on these criteria for purchases.
Agricultural projects with a model of standardized production that is solid and well
defined with a high potential to economies of scale, replication and expansion
Agricultural projects where there is a high segmentation of the Industry and where
there is no monopoly
Land in production that is not managed at the highest levels

Sources to find the land. The considered investment in land comes from many
different and diverse investment considerations. Our sources for projects include
State Governments, Federal Government, local government, local organizations,
national organizations, international organizations, research institutes, agricultural
research centers, to include some, where Agrimex Capital has strong relations and
has the ability to identify the most attractive investments in the agricultural sector.
Land that will be used for production. Agrimex is very careful when finding land
to develop. We look for land that has the optimal chemical composition and the right
texture to make the production conditions optimal. In the case of bananas we look
for soils that have a clay like texture at between 20% and 40% so that it retains the
right amount of humidity.
Agrimex Capital primary operating Model. Agrimex looks for fertile land that is
not in use for production or already in production, with the potential of increasing
yields per hectare and thus profits in the short to medium term.
Auditing for land. Agrimex Capital has an extensive experience buying land in the
southeastern states of Mexico and has state of the art technology to find the most
fertile land with the potential of having high production yields.
i. Auditing for new projects. Before making any investment, the land will
have a very extensive due diligence, where we can determine the
productive, financial and accountable potential of the purchased land.
