Basic Copying Procedures<br />

Follow the steps as below for basic copying.<br />
1 Open the main power switch cover and move the main<br />
power switch to on ( | position).<br />
After warm-up is complete, the Start key’s Start<br />
indicator will glow green.<br />
2 Press the Copier key.<br />
3 Place the original.<br />
NOTE: Refer to Placing Originals on page 2-16 for<br />
original placement instructions.<br />
4 Press the Auto Color, Full Color or Black&White key<br />
to select a color mode.<br />
Color Mode Description<br />
Auto color mode Automatically detects color and black and white originals and copies<br />
color originals in color and black and white originals in black and white.<br />
Full Color mode Copies all originals in full color.<br />
Black and White mode Copies all originals in black and white.
