The UGR abbreviation is an international
index introduced by the interior lighting
standard UNI EN 12464-1, developed
by the CIE (Commission Iternational
de l'Eclairage) to determine the direct
glare for each installation setting,
taking into consideration the layout
of lighting fixtures, the characteristics
of the space (dimensions, reflection
indexes) and observation point
of the operator.
Minimal
Ceiling-flush application
The ceiling-flush installation is the
ideal choice for places that require
formal neatness and minimum
visual impact. Concealed installation
perfectly flush with the plasterboard
allows The Reflex professional
to integrate at best while fully
respecting the space.
Light sources are in backward position
with respect to the false ceiling
to guarantee high visual comfort.
The installation flange works with
12.5mm thick panels.
“General lighting” with
high-performing reflector
The good design of lighting fixtures
with a correct combination of
efficiency, environmental-friendliness
and energy saving, is indispensable
to satisfy the requirements of the
current European directives and
normatives that specify the
constructive, technical and energy
criteria of products. In particular,
the use of high-performing products
reduces the number of fittings
necessary to obtain the requested
illuminance level and consequently
reduces the installation running
costs with economic return.
The Reflex professional range offers
versions especially studied to answer
to the requirements for energy
efficiency contained in the ECA
(Enhanced Capital Allowance)
Standard approved by the British
government, and strongly felt in all
settings with a high need for energy
saving. The products guarantee high
light output and values are derived
from analytical tables that determine
the minimum output values of the
fittings, according to destination
of use and light source used.
In addition to energy and economic
saving, the compliance with the
standard allows for being granted
incentives from the government
(only for the United Kingdom).
