MEN’S CHORALE<br />

The <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Fairways</strong> Men’s Chorale will present their<br />

25 th Anniversary program on <strong>March</strong> 23 rd at 7:00 PM<br />

in the Clubhouse. The program will feature "Folk Songs<br />

for the Folks.” When did you last sing or hear "Tom<br />

Dooley"? If you want that song to again flash through<br />

your brain, come to the concert. When did you last<br />

hear "Green Fields" or "Michael, Row the Boat Ashore"<br />

or "Blowing in the Wind", Bob Dylan’s famous spirited<br />

song? If you want to hear "Try to Remember", the<br />

Men’s great singing group will give you a fantastic entertaining<br />

evening of song.<br />

The group has been practicing under the skillful<br />

leadership of John McDonald twice a week starting in<br />

January. Dorothy Spielman again accompanies the<br />

Chorale with her excellent piano talent.<br />

The Jim Stobe singers will be part of the program<br />

and other previously featured artists will give entertaining<br />

performances. John McDonald has arranged<br />

most of the songs to improve their harmony so we are<br />

sure you will have a wonderful evening of listening<br />

pleasure.<br />

Tickets are only $ 5.00 each and will go on sale at<br />

the Saturday coffee starting <strong>March</strong> 9 th . Of course all<br />

chorale members will have tickets for sale.<br />

FROM THE MEN’S CLUB<br />

<strong>March</strong> is upon us and the Men’s Club will be having<br />

an Appreciation Dinner on Sunday <strong>March</strong> 3, with a set<br />

up in the Main Hall at 2:00 PM. Doors will be open at<br />

5:30 PM, with an open bar, a meal consisting of sirloin<br />

tips and scallops with all the trimmings will be served.<br />

Music by a disk jockey for your entertainment until<br />

10:00PM. The Appreciation Dinner, is a "THANK YOU"<br />

for all the time and effort that MEN of the Men’s Club<br />

have put into making the <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>Fairways</strong> <strong>Community</strong>, a<br />

better place to live.<br />

The Monthly Meeting of the Men’s Club will be held<br />

on Tuesday, <strong>March</strong> 19th at 7:00PM in the Main Hall.<br />

Election of new Officers will be held on that evening.<br />

The last Pancake Breakfast, before the Summer<br />

Break will be held on Saturday, <strong>March</strong> 23rd starting<br />

with set up at 6:00 AM.<br />

And finally in <strong>March</strong> there will be an Easter Sunrise<br />

Service, on <strong>March</strong> 31st, with a set up at 5:30AM, and<br />

a tear down after coffee that morning, this event starts<br />

a new points buildup for the up coming season of<br />

<strong>2013</strong>.<br />
