84 Paragraph 1 to the First Schedule to the Act on composition of Nominations Committee: (a) the Permanent Secretary of<br />

the Ministry responsible for the Commission in the case of appointments to the Commission, or by the Permanent Secretary<br />

of the Ministry responsible for Justice in the case of appointments to the Tribunal, as the case may be, who shall<br />

be the Chairman of the Committee; and (b) two other persons appointed by the Minister, in the case of appointments<br />

to the Commission, or by the Attorney-General in the case of appointments to the Tribunal, as the case may be, one<br />

nominated by a body recognized as being representative of private sector and one nominated by a body recognized<br />

as being representative of consumers.<br />

85 Section 83(4) states that whenever a member or members of the Tribunal, other than the Chairman, are to be appointed<br />

to the Tribunal, a Nomination Committee shall be established as follows: (a) the committee shall be separate from any<br />

Nomination Committee established under section 63; and (b) the composition, functions and procedure of the Nomination<br />

Committee shall be as provided for under the First Schedule subject to the substitution of the Attorney-General for<br />

the Minister and of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry responsible for Justice for the Permanent Secretary of the<br />

Ministry responsible for the Commission.<br />
