84 Paragraph 1 to the First Schedule to the Act on composition of Nominations Committee: (a) the Permanent Secretary of
the Ministry responsible for the Commission in the case of appointments to the Commission, or by the Permanent Secretary
of the Ministry responsible for Justice in the case of appointments to the Tribunal, as the case may be, who shall
be the Chairman of the Committee; and (b) two other persons appointed by the Minister, in the case of appointments
to the Commission, or by the Attorney-General in the case of appointments to the Tribunal, as the case may be, one
nominated by a body recognized as being representative of private sector and one nominated by a body recognized
as being representative of consumers.
85 Section 83(4) states that whenever a member or members of the Tribunal, other than the Chairman, are to be appointed
to the Tribunal, a Nomination Committee shall be established as follows: (a) the committee shall be separate from any
Nomination Committee established under section 63; and (b) the composition, functions and procedure of the Nomination
Committee shall be as provided for under the First Schedule subject to the substitution of the Attorney-General for
the Minister and of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry responsible for Justice for the Permanent Secretary of the
Ministry responsible for the Commission.
