for the metal and mining industries.

Timec is Tenova’s production facility in China. Based in the industrial area of Tanggu (Tianjin) Tenova Timec is located near
the third biggest Chinese port, just 2 hours’ drive from Beijing. The factory takes up an area of 54,000 sqm, including
15,000 sqm covered. Tenova Timec specialises in structural steel components, pipe to pipe and heavy plate parts for Tenova’s
products. The excellent quality of production is guaranteed under Tenova’s worldwide quality assurance program carried out
to the strictest required standards. The best available fabrication competences together with the most demanding quality
requirements have allowed Tenova Timec to become the preferred manufacturing facility not only for Tenova but also for other top
quality customers worldwide.

Tenova Timec has an annual production capacity of between 10,000 and 20,000 tons of equipment and components, serving
the mining and metals industries. Superior quality is what distinguishes Tenova Timec in the region; not only in production, but also
in labour organisation, safety standards and efficiency, while costs are competitively aligned with the Chinese market.
In production planning, machining process control, testing and on-time delivery, Tenova Timec adopts the highest required
standards. Under Tenova’s quality assurance program, the procurement and testing of raw materials, the elaboration of workshop
drawings and the final inspection and testing prior to shipment, are all carried out in-house. Tenova Timec also places particular
importance on providing an excellent working environment for its employees, observing the latest Western regulations governing
workplace health and safety.
