of his first pension on receipt of pension authorisation from the office<br />

of the Account General Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. For the existing<br />

pensioners as on 31-5-2002 identity cards will be issued as per the<br />

programme arranged by the Sub Treasury Officer/<strong>As</strong>sitant Treasury<br />

Officer/<strong>As</strong>sistant Pension Payment Officer. The Director of Treasuries<br />

and Accounts shall issue suitable instructions in this regard.<br />

d) The purpose of issue of these cards is to identity the pensioner as<br />

and when needed.<br />

e) The identity card shall be renewed once in five years.<br />

f) The identity card has to be handedover at old station in case of transfer<br />

of pension from one place to another and Sub Treasury Officer/<br />

<strong>As</strong>sitant Treasury Officer/<strong>As</strong>sistant Pension Payment Officer of concerned<br />

in new station has to issue new card.<br />

g) The Sub Treasury Officer/<strong>As</strong>sitant Treasury Officer/<strong>As</strong>sistant Pension<br />

Payment Officer should record the name and address of the pensioner<br />

to whom he issues identity card. It may also be noted in the<br />

pension payment order.<br />

h) The cost of the identity card is such amount as the government may<br />

fix from time to time which is to be borne by the pensioners<br />

themselves.<br />

i) These cards will be issued in the proforma prescribed in the<br />

Annexure-I and II.<br />
