trict Treasury Office / Pension Payment Office, on surrender of both halves of<br />

the Pension Payment Orders by the pensioners as the case may be should<br />

prepare a transfer order in the form prescribed (Annexure - I) and send both<br />

the halves of the Pension Payment Order along with the descriptive rolls, to<br />

the District Treasury Office of the District concerned Pension Payment<br />

Office, where payment is desired under intimation to the Pension Issuing<br />

Authority and Accountant General, Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, the<br />

District Treasury Office / Pension Payment Office, should cancel the entry in<br />

the Pension Payment Order register in his Office, making a note to the effect<br />

“Transferred for payment at . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .<br />

.. Sub-Treasury / District Treasury / Pension Payment Office”.<br />

(d) Action by the Pension Issuing Authority which issued Pension<br />

Payment Order :<br />

On receipt of intimation from the District Treasury Office / Pension<br />

Payment Office, regarding transfer of the Pension Payment Order to the<br />

concerned District, the Pension Issuing Authority which issued the Pension<br />

Payment Order should take action to (a) send an extract of the Pension<br />

Payment Order register to the Pension Issuing Authority of the District where<br />

payment is desired with a covering letter in the form given (Annexure - II) and<br />

(ii) cancel the entry in the Pension Payment Register in his Office in red ink<br />

taking a note to the effect “Transferred for payment at . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .<br />

. . . Sub-Treasury / District Treasury / Pension Payment Office.”<br />

(e) Action by the Pension Issuing Authorities of the District<br />

where payment is desired.<br />

The Pension Issuing Authority of the District where payment is desired,<br />

should, on receipt of Pension Payment Register extract from the Pension<br />

Issuing Authority (which issued Pension Payment Order) take an entry<br />

of the Pension Payment Order in the Pension Payment Order Register by<br />

giving a fresh Pension Payment Order number of the series of his District.<br />

After taking entry in this register, the Pension Issuing Authority should intimate<br />

the District Treasury that the payment of pension on the said Pension<br />

Payment Order may be effected from that Treasury / Sub-Treasury . . . . . .. .<br />

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . under him from the due date i.e. the month<br />

following the one upto which it has been paid at the previous treasury. This<br />

intimation should be in the form appended (Annexure - III). A copy of this<br />

should be given to the pensioner, who should surrender this at the Treasury /
