the pension disbursing officers should obtain a certificate of<br />

non-re-employment from the pensioners twice in a year i.e.<br />

in the months of January and July.<br />

7. The standard terms and conditions of re-employment issued<br />

in the reference third read above will continue inforce.<br />

8. The pensioners who are on re-employment as on the date are<br />

eligible for re-fixation of their pay in terms of these orders based<br />

on the consolidated pension and revised pay scales.<br />

9. These orders are come in force from date 16-10-2000.<br />

10. These orders are applicable to all Governments employees<br />

who are re-employed or appointed after retirement and<br />

continuing on re-employment, other than those employed on<br />

contract basis, whether they have retired with or without a pension<br />

and or gratuity or any other retirement benefits i.e. Contributory<br />

Provident Fund etc., from Civil posts or from the Armed<br />

Forces.<br />

11. These orders will not apply to the employees of the Industrial<br />

and Commercial Undertakings of Government and Contingent<br />

Establishment and part-time employees of the Government,<br />

Judges of High Court and Supreme Court.<br />

VI. In case of commutation of Pension by re-employed Pensioners<br />

Article 524-B :- In the case of a pensioner who is re-employed in<br />

Government service or in the service of a Local Fund and who commutes<br />

a portion of his pension after such re-employment, the amount of pension<br />

which the pensioner is entitled to draw under the rules in this section, shall be<br />

the amount to which he would have been entitled had there been no communication,<br />

less the amount commuted.<br />

In the case of a pensioner whose pension is held wholly in abeyance<br />

during such re-employment, and who commutes a portion of his pension<br />

during this period, his pay during re-employment shall be reduced by the<br />

amount of pension commuted with effect from the date on which the commutation<br />

becomes absolute. In the case of a pensioner whose pension is held
