The aim of our study is to exam<strong>in</strong>e the antecedents <strong>and</strong> outcomes of <strong>burnout</strong> from<br />

the consumer <strong>in</strong>stead of employees view po<strong>in</strong>t. This study will try to fill the gaps by<br />

tak<strong>in</strong>g count of consumer emotional, physical, economical <strong>and</strong> spiritual exhaustion<br />

dur<strong>in</strong>g shopp<strong>in</strong>g activities, which leads to <strong>in</strong>civilities. Research on <strong>burnout</strong> was focus<br />

on employees as victims of work place pressure, work aggression which has<br />

negative <strong>in</strong>fluence on organization over all. This concept is fruitful to expla<strong>in</strong><br />

dysfunctional employees’ reactions from environmental situations. A qualitative study<br />

offers an underst<strong>and</strong><strong>in</strong>g of <strong>customer</strong> emotional exhaustion dur<strong>in</strong>g their shopp<strong>in</strong>g<br />

activities. As result, consumer <strong>burnout</strong> may be l<strong>in</strong>ked to attitudes <strong>and</strong> behaviors.<br />
