Ing. Karel Žďárský, General Manager of Farmet, takes over the award Company
of The Year 2009
The dynamic growth and development of
Farmet is mainly based on the continuous
construction of internal infrastructure,
process management system and use of the
latest managerial approaches at all levels.
This has provided for the transformation of

more than 200 employees.
Farmet puts great emphasis on the selection
of prime workers and on the continuous
increase in their qualifi cations. The Company
also manages to get state subsidies for some

Farmet has also focused on research and
development in cooperation with research
institutes and universities. These projects are
also signifi cantly supported within state
subsidies. The aim of the cooperation is to
increase the quality and added value of the
Company’s own products as well as to increase
the production technologies, productivity,
work safety or protection of the environment.
The opening of a new research, production
and training centre for more than CZK 130
million this year is a signifi cant step.
