breakouts. Eliminate congestion
in a specific area of the skin that
needs it most, or get treated allover
for clearer skin.
contraindications
Check your Face Mapping ® skin

MicroZone ® Consultation Card
for any skin or medical conditions
that may contraindicate a product
selection.
Not recommended for users of any
topical or orally prescribed acne,
Vitamin A derived, skin exfoliation
medications. If client is using these
products, he/she must discontinue
at least 2 weeks before undergoing
this treatment. Do not use on skin
that is sunburned, irritated, sensitive
or has recently been professionally
exfoliated, resurfaced or
waxed.
Clients taking Isotretinoin (sometimes
marketed as Accutane), or
have taken Isotretinoin within the
past 6 months, should not receive
any exfoliation treatments.

step-by-step
Review the MicroZone ® Treatment Consultation Card that your client has
completed and ask any additional pertinent questions. (1 minute)
Spot cleanse the skin if you are working on a particular zone to perform
extractions. Use PreCleanse (with vacuum suction if available or Ultrasonic).
Remove with esthetic wipes. (2 minutes)
Wipe the skin with 2 pumps of Daily Resurfacer to degrease and perform
zone-specific Face Mapping ® skin analysis. Look for congestion, under the
surface micro-comedones and impactions. (1 minute)
Option #1-Exfoilation: mix ½ teaspoon Daily Microfoliant ® 1

Exfoliant Accelerator 35. Remove with a steam towel. Perform desincrustation
with Scaling Fluid (and steam).

Option #2-Exfoliation/Desincrustation: mix 1 scoop Part A of Skin Exfoliant
System and ¾ teaspoon Scaling Fluid customized with 2 drops of Purifying
Botanical Mixer. (Option of using galvanic desincrustation on the (-) pole over
Scaling Fluid or Enzymatic Base, Part A with Scaling Fluid). (6 minutes)
Remove with esthetic wipes or a warm steam towel customized with Purifying
Botanical Mixer. (1 minute)
Perform extractions. (5 minutes)
Rinse with warm esthetic wipes. Wipe with Post Extraction Solution over
zones where extractions were performed. (1 minute)
Spritz with Multi-Active Toner and apply 6 drops MediBac Clearing ®
Complex (option of using galvanic on the (+) pole over the complex to restore
pH if desincrustation was previously performed.) (2 minutes)
Treat with Clearing Mattifier, prescribed Dermalogica Moisturizer and Solar
Defense Booster SPF30. (1 minute)
