Look for poor muscle tone, stretch marks,
large intestine bloating and linear nigra.
Food intolerances may cause bloating
and abdominal discomfort. Stress can
often be experienced in the stomach as
cramps, nausea and acid indigestion.
Discuss diet and elimination processes
with your client. Stress may also manifest
as irritable bowel syndrome which causes
intestinal swelling and cramps. Poor
muscle tone can be due to lack of
exercise. Stretch marks may be due to
weight fluctuations or pregnancy.

Look for sun damage and pigmentation,
loss of elasticity, skin sensitivity, skin tags,
hair growth, acne, fluid retention and
stretch marks around the breast area
and postural changes.
Sun exposure and the aging process
can cause the deterioration of skin tissue
in the chest area. Check that your client
moisturizes and protects the area with
sunscreens. Fragrances should not
be sprayed on to exposed skin as UV
light may cause pigmentation due to
photosensitivity. Weight fluctuations or
pregnancy may cause stretch marks
to develop. Stress may result in acne
breakouts or unusual hair growth in the
chest area. Correct fitting clothes and
underwear are vital considerations
with postural change such as rounded
shoulders.
