Be<strong>in</strong>g too angry to ride <strong>in</strong> company, Wimple now<br />

hung <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> rear some distance, look<strong>in</strong>g very sulky.<br />

After travel<strong>in</strong>g a number of miles, <strong>the</strong>y came to<br />

undulat<strong>in</strong>g prairie, <strong>the</strong> surface ly<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> waves, resembl<strong>in</strong>g<br />

much <strong>the</strong> billows of <strong>the</strong> ocean, when tossed<br />
