Return to <strong>the</strong> Queen City-Connubial.<br />

WE now return to take up <strong>the</strong> broken thread of<br />

our narrative.<br />

Anna Maria Gerard and Enola Glenn, on a summer<br />

even<strong>in</strong>g, when <strong>the</strong> sun was low, were leisurely<br />

promenad<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> garden walks _toge<strong>the</strong>r, with arms<br />

gently encircl<strong>in</strong>g each o<strong>the</strong>r's delicate waists, when<br />

<strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g conversation occurred between <strong>the</strong>m:<br />
