CONCERNING GOVERNMENT.
THE TITLE of the Book, taken from the first two
words, is "To Rule," and this is one of its principal
subjects, but the book also treats of filial conduct, scholarship,
and other matters.
CHAPTER I.--THE MAGNETIC POWER OF
ROYAL VIRTUE. 2_ (He who) conducts
government J_ by _1_ (his) virtue _ may be compared
to ;[[_ _: the northern constellation, _ (which) remains
in _ its J_ place, _j and _ all J_. the stars _ bend
towards _ it. Cf. XV. 4. C. _ is to b'e pronounced

rectify, viz., that whereby the incorrect is corrected. For.
