cognate work and or teaching experience in <strong>the</strong> relevant discipline or option<br />
b teaching staff are effective In <strong>the</strong> teaching and supervision <strong>of</strong> students work and in <strong>the</strong> utilisation<br />
<strong>of</strong> all resources in <strong>the</strong> department<br />
c <strong>the</strong> teaching load <strong>for</strong> teaching staff Is averagely 15 hours per week <strong>the</strong> maximum teaching load<br />
being 18 hoursa week Staff having administrative responsibilily should have aminimum teaching<br />
load <strong>of</strong> 8 hours a week<br />
d <strong>for</strong> a single stream NO or HND programme a minimum <strong>of</strong> 4 qualified lecturers or 3 lecturers and<br />

6 0 STANDARD AND QUALITY OF STUDENTS WORK<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir course work examinations practical work and projects There shall be evidence to <strong>the</strong> Board<br />

a class tests and course work in each module course <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> programme are at <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> training<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
