Bar Graphics Please Note 38 Via the tag Output / Bar Graphics. Direction Determines the direction in which a bar graphic moves. In order to change and edit the properties of already existing objects you can either choose the object from the object list box in the inspector, or you can simply select the object directly from the form. 2.5 Testing your Application on the Development System Once your form has been created you can start the compilation process via the menu Execute / Compile Form. A compilation procedure automatically occurs whenever you switch from one form into another. Should the form already be compiled then this procedure is ignored. Please Note Please Note The compilation procedure is done as follows: 1. Creation of a static background picture. (Creation of a *.SRC / *.SRX file in the runtime directory) 2. Creation of a list containing all dynamic objects. (Creation of a picture database of *.PKF files in the runtime directory). During the compilation procedure all inputs necessary for an object are checked. Should any parameters be missing or false they will be displayed in the Compiler box. More detailed information on these errors can be found under the View / Error. Every form has its own error log. These logs can be accessed whenever necessary. The compilation procedure only checks whether all the object parameters in a form are formally correct and present. The procedure does not cross check the variable entered under DataSource with the list of variables defined in the process database, or whether any formulas and/or equations are correct. If the form was compiled without any errors you can start and test your application on the development system by clicking Start under the menu Execute.
