products, with an annual production
capacity of 2.2 million cubic
metres. The operations include
eight sawmills in Sweden, woodprocessing
units with planing
mills in Sweden, France and the
UK and distribution and wholesale
operations.

SCA Timber is a supplier of
customised industrial wood
products for further processing
into such items as panelling,
flooring, windows, doors and
furniture. Finished wood components
for such sectors as
window manufacturing represent
another growth market.
Products for the building materials
market are delivered planed and
pre­packaged. The product range
is supplemented with service and
distribution solutions for customers
in the wood industry and
builders merchant sector.
Gällö Timber is a subsidiary
that is jointly owned by SCA
Timber and Persson Invest.
At the beginning of 2012,
SCA Timber acquired PLF,
France’s largest independent
timber supplier to the French
builders merchant sector.
