SCA’s sawmills, Ortviken and Laakirchen paper mills, Aylesford Newsprint Ltd., Östrand pulp mill and SCA BioNorr have all been Chain of Custody certified according to FSC, Forest Stewardship Council. This means that they can offer FSCcertified wood products, paper, pulp and fuel products. SCA is currently one of the world’s largest suppliers of FSCcertified products. During 2011, SCA’s forestry was also certified in accordance with PEFC, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes. Several of SCA’s industries were also Chain of Custody certified in line with PEFC. This means that SCA can now offer a broader range of PEFCcertified forest products.
