Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has excellent weather all year round.<br />
The area has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and<br />
excellent restaurants. The harbour (where you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura), is a few minutes<br />
drive from the villa, as is the stunning new Rubicon marina. The area also boasts spectacular beaches,<br />
in particular the famous Papagayo beach which is within easy reach of the villa.<br />
<strong>Faro</strong> Park (<strong>Faro</strong> is the spanish word for “Lighthouse”), is located In the southwest corner, a short 5<br />
minute drive from the centre of Playa Blanca. Here, the island has been tastefully developed with a<br />
number of four and five star hotels and luxury villas like this. <strong>Faro</strong> Park itself has an English Bar, Irish<br />
Bar Restaurant, Indian and Chinese restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery / delicatessen, two coffee<br />
shops and a gift shop, all within a short walk of the villa.<br />
