31. check every incoming bus/vehicle for any
unclaimed/suspicious object/material at the Gate,
before it enters the depot;
32. check I/cards of all the employees/officers.
II. Duties of patrolling Security Guard :
1. patrol the area specified;
2. supervise loading of material such as cement, steel,
tyres etc. and check the same with gate pass, ensuring
that no excess material is loaded.
3. supervise loading of scrap material and garbage to
ensure that no serviceable material is concealed to be
smuggled out of the premises;
4. supervise loading of valuable scrap material with the
same in view;
5. prevent any act of sabotage – for that, while patrolling he would look for any suspicious object
planted in the premises;
6. ensure that various Depts./Sections and shops are
properly locked/sealed;
7. prevent, detect and investigate any attempt of theft;
8. stop person from smoking in ‘No Smoking’ Areas;
9. prevent tampering of any Fire Fighting Appliances;
