v) ensure that sound internal control systems are laid down by the respective departments
and followed scrupulously.
vi) wherever possible suggest changes in procedures and
practices so as to eliminate/ minimise possibilities of
theft, fraud, misappropriation and fire.
viii) arrange necessary Police protection to the premises of
the Undertaking, in their respective divisions during
strikes, bandhs, civil disturbances.
E. Maintenance of Law & Order
They shall:
i) investigate cases of assault.
ii) arrange a security bandobast during social and religious functions at the premises of
their jurisdiction.
F. Vigilance:
They shall arrange to:
i) keep vigil on delinquent/suspected employees of the Traffic/ Transp. Engg., Building
Dept. and staff of other departments.
keep vigil on the delinquent/suspected employees of the Electric Supply Branch and
Stores Dept.
ii) keep vigil on line to detect/apprehend culprits indulging
in pilferage of fitments from the Undertakings buses.
iii) keep vigil on employees suspected of punching by proxy, absenting from place of
work, money lending and various irregularities.
iv) ASO(Electric Supply) shall keep vigil to detect and apprehend culprits stealing from
various sub-stations.
v) maintain close liaison with other departments at the depots/premises in the matter of
security of Undertakings properties.
